Shifting the upward chain
It's very easy to think that small personal changes can't have a significant impact.
It's very easy to think that our choices are controlled by big business.
Think about this—businesses only exist by selling things people buy. When people don't buy them, those businesses either change or fail.
Every time you buy anything—from toothpaste to a house—you are making a decision that guides the behaviour, and the choices, made by the businesses that supply our products.
The more we make forward-thinking choices, and the more we make the same forward-thinking choices - choices that give us products that are better made, more sustainably designed, with lower carbon footprints - the more the businesses that supply those products will change.
Nobody's selling bottled water to nobody.
If you think—by buying differently I can fix the world—you're thinking right. And the more we help more people think this way, the faster we fix it.
It's a long journey
The more we act— the more we share—the more we have a movement towards a healthier, safer, more prosperous future for us all.
